Painting With Repurposed Textiles - with Tansy Hargan. Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July 2023

10am - 4pm both days

Guest tutor Tansy Hargan will be returning to my studio to run this inspiring two-day workshop:

'In this weekend workshop you will start with a worn-out item of clothing and end with a piece of textile art.

Deconstructed seams, hems, pockets and plackets will take the place of conventional art supplies as you make marks, layer and align, using lengths of harvested thread, acrylic paint, and dressmakers offcuts to add detail using hand and machine stitch.

The composite fabric resulting could be framed or used to cover a book, or make a bag.'

Please bring along a packed lunch.
There is a fridge and microwave available at the studio. Refreshments, snacks and homemade cake will be provided on the day.

Any cancellations within two weeks of the workshop date are non refundable.
