Japanese Boro Inspired Embroidery Sampler Kit

This Boro inspired kit is based on the ancient Japanese tradition of patching and mending textiles through layering and simple hand stitching techniques.

A lovely relaxing project to work on at your own pace. Suitable for complete beginners and experienced sewers.

You can follow the fabric layout guide or create a pattern of your own.

The pack contains:

1 x A4 piece of blue cotton fabric background.
11 x smaller pieces of plain cotton fabrics, denim, indigo, in varying shades of blue.
6 x small pieces of patterned cotton fabrics in blues. Includes woven, resist dyed, shibori & ikat.
1 x pack of two different size Japanese Sashiko needles.
A selection of Japanese Sashiko threads in light & dark blues, variegated blues, black, grey & white.
Instructions and guidance booklet, with a little Boro background information.
